The Probes overview is the home screen of Uiprobe.
It shows all probes you have created and acts as the entry point for starting new comparisons or continuing existing ones.
Each probe in the list represents a comparison referencing a Figma frame and a webpage. Selecting a probe opens it in the Probe Inspector, where visual differences can be reviewed in detail.
Draft probes also appear in the Probes Overview. These are probes created from the Figma plugin that have design data but no webpage URL yet. Draft probe cards show a Figma frame thumbnail with a Figma logo, a Draft badge, and a "Sent from Figma" source label. Clicking a draft opens the completion modal where you can provide a webpage URL.
If no probes exist yet, the Probes overview presents an empty state that encourages you to create your first probe.
New probes are created directly from the Probes overview. Creating a probe defines a new comparison by providing a Figma frame URL and a webpage URL. Once created, Uiprobe runs the comparison and opens the probe for review.
The Probes overview reflects which probes exist and gives access to them, but it does not display visual differences, findings, or inspection details. All analysis happens inside individual probes.
The Probes overview is not intended for finding-level review, collaboration, or sharing. Its role is limited to organizing and accessing probes.
